Obituary for Ashlee P Gronau
Ashlee Parrish Gronau, 47, passed away on Saturday June 25th, 2022, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Ashlee was born to Raymond and Vicky Woods on May 13th, 1975.
She grew up in Maumee, Ohio and attended Penta County. She graduated from Maumee High School in 1993.
She had a variety of employment but found her niche in working for a title company doing title searches. She would have been a great detective.
She also had a love of cooking and having her kids and grandkids over for dinner. A few years ago, she began making boxed suppers for friends and local establishments. Her boxed suppers were loved by many, but ultimately, she had to stop her sales due to health issues. One of Ashlee’s favorite things to do was watch her son, Zach, play baseball. She was very proud of all her children.
Ashlee married Brian Gronau on May 21,2004. She is survived by her husband, Brian, children, Kori (Josh) Seeman, Brittney Hurley, Sean (Chloe) Hurley and Zachary Gronau. Also surviving are her parents Ray and Vicky Woods, siblings Carrie (Frances) Leroy, Jeannie (David) Pawlicki, Joseph Woods. Ashlee’s 3 grandchildren Isabella and Emilee Seeman, and Jace Hurley brought her endless joy. Ashlee will also be missed by her very large, extended family.
As to her wishes, there will not be a funeral service. The family will be having a private gathering in her honor.
Ashlee had a love of animals, especially her cats Vadar and Kylo. If you would care to donate, please donate to Toledo Animal Rescue or Toledo Humane Society in her memory.
